Four beats of a bout

  1. 01 — The claim. What the poster, the demo, or the model said it could do. Write it down before the bell.
  2. 02 — The ask. One prompt a reader could reuse. Same ask, three runs, unless the card says otherwise.
  3. 03 — The cut. Where it missed: a wrong step, a fake citation, a refusal that did not fit, a tool it said it called.
  4. 04 — Still standing, or out. A keep is allowed. Newest is not fittest. The work decides.

Sample slips

How a slip looks before anyone claims a win. The full rules live on the card.

CLAIM
CLAIM

Poster says it cites clean

The demo flashes sources and smooth prose. The card asks for the same ask, three times, with links that resolve.

CUT
CUT

Air where the citation should be

A real-looking link that does not resolve is a fall. Smooth prose does not save the round.

KEEP
KEEP

Stops when the source is not in hand

It names what it knows and drops what it cannot show. That stop is a keep, not a miss.
